POST GRADUATE WORK PERMIT

A Post Graduate Work Permit (PGWP) is the most common kind of Open Work Permit issued to specific individuals. A PGWP allows Students within Canada to remain in the country and gain valuable Canadian Work Experience after graduating from a Designated Learning Institute in a Certificate, Diploma, Degree or other eligible Educational credential that is at least 8 months in length. It can be issued for a period of 8 months to 3 years in length. No Job Offer is required in order to secure a PGWP in Canada.

International Students can receive a PGWP only once in a lifetime, even if multiple Educational Credentials have been completed

  • Must not have completed the studies in Distant Learning. Only 50% of total program can be completed by the way of Distant Learning
